As part of the Mozart&Padova Festival, the accession of the City of Padua to the international European Mozart Ways (EMW) association was officially presented during a press conference.
The event was opened by Councillor for Culture Andrea Colasio, together with Maria Majno, President of the European Mozart Ways, and festival curator Paola Cattaneo. Maria Majno introduced the European Mozart Ways association within the framework of the Council of Europe’s Cultural Routes Programme, highlighting its importance as a network for cultural cooperation in Europe and for the preservation and promotion of the musical heritage of Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart.
This was followed by a lecture by Angela Romanogli, university professor and member of the EMW Board, entitled “Mozart’s European Geographies”, in which she explored Mozart’s travels and their cultural influence on various regions of Europe.
